Oh hi, I’m AJ Pierzynski, the single whiniest player in MLB history. Yeah, Kerry Wood should have struck me on a called strike three. But even with the blind generosity of the home plate umpire, I, taking a full swing, was out on the appeal. Yeah, I took a full swing but then I threw my bat when I was called for…swinging. Yeah, I’m really whiny. Waa waa waa. No wonder everyone hates me.

Just for the record though, Barrett shouldn’t have punched you. I’m sorry he was a pansy about you sliding into him.

Oh really? I don’t have a degree in statistics but the Cubs do have a run differential of 19 over the White Sox…

Nothing happened except that Hawk and DJ give way too much credit to the White Sox fielders when they make the plays they’re supposed to make.

“COME ON–GET THERE…GET THERE! YES!!!” on a routine fly-out to right. Listen guys, if *I* can make the play then it’s not worth wasting an of your valuable exclamation points. Sorry.

Had Derek Lee not grounded into a double-play, it would have been great. Lilly looked like the third-inning-and-beyond Lilly and both Fukudome and Theriot looked good. Too bad with runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs the Cubs could only get one. Oh well, there are another eight innings for those other 99 runs. Go Cubbies!

You know it’s a bad omen when Hawk and DJ are announcing a CUBS HOME GAME on WGN. My God, I cannot wait for Hawk to kick the bucket. And DJ is just his little yap dog verbally following him around going “yep yep. yep yep. Whatever you saw Hawk.” Len Casper is annoying but not like this.

I HATE YOU HAWK! I hate that you can’t give any other team any credit for anything ever, under any circumstance. I don’t love Ozzie but I like him more than you.

Oh My God. DJ couldn’t say Fukudome. You don’t practice these names? I love how you guys haven’t said anything nice at all about Ted Lilly yet. That’s just funny. I absolutely hate you guys.

The Cubs just blew it with Fukudome up and the bases loaded. Yeah, I could blame Fukudome for bouncing into a double play but I’d rather blame Soriano who maybe needs a reminder that second base IS SCORING POSITION. Ramirez singles to RIGHT and Soriano doesn’t even attempt to get home. Whatever. Get rid of him.

I hope Bob Brenly doesn’t get fired because he bashed Alfonso Soriano last night. If I were the Cubs, I’d give him a gold star for saying exactly what we the fans are thinking. I know the Cubs canned Steve Stone after he correctly slammed the worth ethic and attitude of the Cubs and during last night’s game I was reminded of that after Alfonso Soriano cost the Cubs another game.

The Cubs need to get stop playing Soriano. Period. Yeah, he hits some homeruns and he makes some fantastic outfield assists but HE CAN’T RUN. Because he can’t run, it hurts him (and the Cubs) everywhere. He can’t turn singles into doubles, doubles into triples, make even average catches in the outfield, or steal bases. In essence, he’s Adam Dunn. I have no problem with Adam Dunn–but he’s not a lead-off hitter and everyone knows what to expect from him: a homerun or a strikeout. There are no delusions with him.

Get him the hell out of there and put him on the 60-day DL. Don’t even think about bringing him back until he’s 100%. Unlike Mark Prior (I hate to even say the name), Alfonsio Soriano has no problem saying that he’s at 80% and at least not a liar who is desperate to get back into the line-up. So DL him until he says “100%” then put him back in. He is absolutely useless right now; about as useless as the Pirates scorer who gave that play RBI double instead of an error. That cost MARMOL the save AND brought his ERA dangerously close to the 2.00 mark.
